The Overview Effect

I.
all our little wars
Earth hangs blue in the darkness
of cold indifference.

grey moon, ancient cold,
a blue world caught like amber,
somewhere it is spring

II.
Grey stone, endless dust
then that blue, rising, unmasked
a gift we did not earn

Monochrome holds still
a blue arc breaks the silence
the void almost blinks

III.
Grey stone, endless dust
then that blue, rising, unmasked
a gift we did not earn

Monochrome holds still
a blue arc breaks the silence
the void almost blinks
