4 Vivaldi’s Winter — L’Inverno (1st Movement)

Prologue for the Deaf Listener:
This project (multi-part) is written with the deaf reader in mind. It translates orchestral movement into embodied language. These words are the sound of cold becoming a lash. Bring on the wind with teeth of glass, biting bare branches into prayers of splinter.

4 Vivaldi’s L’Inverno — (Winter) – The Interior

Inside,
the fire does not blaze.
It counts.

One log at a time.
A measured giving
of heat.

Breath learns restraint.
In through the nose,
slow,
as if the air itself
might shatter.

Out again.
White.
Gone.

The heart does not race.
It keeps time
like a watch
worn too long
to be trusted,
yet still obeyed.

Hands curl near the chest.
Not in prayer.
In guarding.

This is shelter:
not walls,
not song,
but the quiet agreement
between flame and flesh
to continue.

Outside, the storm spends itself.
Inside,
something smaller
refuses to go out.

  1. once again, the timing of the music and the verse is spot on. This is still a fascinating project.

    1. ( mirroring your approach in a discussion – not my way to start a debate with FYI. So…)

      FYI
There are more than one ways to collaborate with AI.
Artists and writers are indeed hesitant to disclose AI involvement when AI has done their work for them.
Otherwise, why not? If AI enhances the creative process, then the artist should be clear and specific on the ways it was done.
There is a way called Synergy.

If humans allow AI to substitute their creativity, it is their fault.
If they choose to exchange hard life choices, commitment, studying, improving their craft with just producing AI artifacts then, again, it is a choice they made.

Furthermore, I feel you are barking at the wrong tree. I have noticed that you have raised the AI issue again here at Misky’s.
She is very transparent in what she is doing. She is using MJ to create relevant photos to her ink. Ink that is absolutely stemmed from her heart and mind. Nothing wrong with that.

Final words: historically, when someone is entrenched in his/ her opinion and believes that their perspective should be the way of the world… never had any positive outcome.
