A Triolet: In the Spirit of Loaves and Fishes
It’s been rising for an hour,
no loaves & fishes, only bread.
A floury snow across the counter,
it’s been rising for an hour.
In a veil of cloud and pale powder,
on the rug, crumbs will spread.
It’s been rising for an hour,
no loaves & fishes, only bread.
