2708: A Thursday Door

Dan’s Thursday Doors opened the way to share my love of doors — of all sorts. I’ve trawled through my photos and found a few to share. Bushboy (Brian Dodd) also shares photos of doors from his his journeys.

  1. Quite medieval looking. Almost looks like a cuckoo clock

      1. That is so good thanks Misky. Stupid workers starting a fire and the restoration added a bit

  3. That is quite the entrance, Misky. I love the door, but the surrounding structure is impressive. It looks quite formidable. Thanks, too, for the link you provided Brian.

    1. That’s the side door, centuries ago called The Women’s Door because the men were the only ones allowed to enter through the main door, and men and women never sat together. The hardware on the main door is equally impressive. Maybe next Thursday.
