In Denmark and Sweden for the next three weeks. Holiday. Family. Yeah!
1. Thankful that there are still lanes untouched by tarmac and cement.

2. Thankful that drip irrigation systems are exempt from the hosepipe ban.
3. The tomato, peppers, and cucumber plants should be okay while we’re up North 3-weeks because (thankfully!) Peder has installed and tested the water system.

4. Another heatwave started on Tuesday, so until we leave we’re eating heatwave food.

5. Thankful for an ice cream on a hot day.

6. For Six Sentence Stories, which can also be poems. Haven’t time to write a story, and network connections in Europe can be sketchy outside of large cities. So, a poem this week. And the next also. Maybe the following that, too.

7. Thankful for SatNav because I like to just turn off the main road and explore roads I’ve never been on — and then I tell the SatNav to put me back on track.

8. Packing bags for travel. Put your clothes inside the bag, zip up the inner zipper, then the outer one whch compresses the size of the bags to half what it was before.

9. Thankful that I’ll soon see my grandchildren, my sons, their wives, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws, and old friends.
10. Thankful to be heading north out of this heatwave.

The TToT has always been big on making this a friendly community, and getting to know each other through posts and comments is a huge part of that. We’re thankful for you!
