It's Still Life

Happiness Remixed

the leaves lift,
bounce—

wind under a wing.

blackbird singing,
not to be seen,

though its tune
carries.

magpie lands,

finds a meal
in between
blades of grass.

it’s a day
for opening
all the windows.
