AprPAD — Day 01

blue sky, white house with red roof, field of rapeseed

1 Day: Rapeseed Blooming in an Open Field

an arrow of sun
or that yellow
careless as fire in dry grass

its strength buried
in twisted roots

blossoms pelting the sky
and not asking

each seed a throat
breaking open

the field rising
not holy
but louder than prayer

    1. We drove through Dijon last May, and for hundreds of miles around there it was bright yellow for as far as you could see. Quite impressive.
