2303: Spring Thoughts

The light turned blade-sharp
against winter’s grey throat.
Low sun,
warm enough
for blessing hanging sheets.

Tonight we’ll sleep like linen,
wind-wrung and sweet.

    1. It seems winter doesn’t have ears because it’s blowing a hoolie outside, raining, and up north near Scotland they’re expecting snow!
