1902: A Thursday Door

red front door, climbing rose, red polka dot boots, house is a blue colour
a well-weathered barn door with herbs drying inside

Bushboy (Brian Dodd) shares photos of doors, but not just any doors. Spectacular doors from his journeys. Dan’s Thursday Doors opened the door on this. I love doors of all sorts. I’ve trawled through my photos and found a few to share.

  2. That is a beautiful photo, Misky. I love the door and the fact that the top is open so we can see what’s inside.

    1. It’s so funny — after starting Thursday’s Doors, everywhere I go my peripheral vision is seeking out interesting doors. See you next Thursday!

  3. Ooh I love everything about this door and photo. This is my kind of door, well worn and weathered nicely and still in use. Excellent share.

    1. Yes! I can’t wait to draw my hand up stems of lavender soon. Well, maybe ‘soon’ is a bit optimistic but — soonish.
