110126: Japanese Short Form Poetry

autumn leaves of colour and brick terraced houses

Senryu
leaves frame the old homes
someone lives here, quietly
mending the day

Haiku
stone learning stillness
moss writes its slow green letters
where rain remembers

Senryu
leaves cling, moss clings
in the window, a single lamp
clings to its warmth.

Haiku
brick wall, stone houses
all framed by the patient moss
of time letting go.
