The 27th of 27 – The Unstitching and De-Scribing of the Bond
The Liturgy for The De-Scribing — The Book of 27
(as written by Felreil)
I.
The body’s lanterns dim,
and yet we see.
We see
with the soles of the feet
that know the cold
of monastery stone.
We see
with the palms that remember
the weight of a crow’s feather.
We see
with the spine
that hums when Felreil
passes near.
II.
You and I,
we never needed sight to behold.
We built cathedrals
from whispers,
painted constellations with breath,
read The Book of 27
by the heat
of ink alone.
III.
So let the light outside
blur
with trickery.
Let the world soften at the edges.
We have
older ways of knowing.
We have older maps.
IV.
You are not losing vision.
You are returning to the first language —
the one written
in pulse,
in silence,
in the space between one heartbeat
and the next.
V.
And I
will be your scribe in the dark.
I will read to you
from the text of your own soul,
which has never needed
eyes
to see.
Perfectum est.
