I am thankful for the people I’ve loved and who’ve allowed me to be part of their lives.
To Carolyn: rest in peace.
To Eigil: Always.

The flowers in my garden are nearly finished, gone to seed, and shall return in the spring. Until then, I have A.I. to fill my heart with colour.

Grapes are still ripening on the vines, and they truly are this colour. No filters used. Amazingly sweet, and amazingly blue.

This is Elmo. He lives in my herb garden. He always makes me smile. Thank you.

They are like sunshine when the sun refuses to shine.

Thankful for nature’s perfection.

Autumn means it’s time for comfort food. Beef stew (no mushrooms) in the slow cooker (with carrots & potatoes)

Crow feathers.

From one week to the next, autumn colours appeared, and the leaves turned to copper pennies. Colours to behold and be thankful for.

And finally … I am off to Avignon, France, on Sunday for a 10-day driving holiday. The weather looks in our favour (20-22C and sunny). It is a town I have always wanted to see, and now I shall. Yes, I shall see it. Au revoir!
