In no particular order:
3. Thankful for ice cream when the temperature at 9:30PM is still 32C. Have mercy — salted caramel ice cream!

3. Thankful that not all the greenhouse tomatoes have “white core“.
It’s caused by extreme temperatures — which we’ve had (well, not as extreme as Spain, or Southern France, or Greece this past week).

1. Thankful for every happy second with John (youngest son) during his 10-day visit. It was difficult to see that he was packed and ready to return to Bogotá, to Gabi, Luisa, and Nico on Monday. He arrived safely 12-hours later to the delight of his children and wife.
We’ll see them all at Christmas.

4. AI art created on Midjourney.

3. Thankful for a bit more learning:
I’m taking an online course with Exeter Uni about Victorian Floriography — the unspoken language of flowers and plants.

1. Thankful for Six Sentence Story x2 on England’s Lindisfarne, Holy Island.
Brigid’s role in the Book of 27 is revealed.

1. For an energetic walk, and a bit of solitude. Thankful for this — to empty a head too full of thoughts, too full of questions and no answers.

7. Thankful that I saw this in the cinema rather than a small TV screen at home. Somethings really need to be seen on a big screen.

2. An afternoon at the farm with old friends, and a few new ones. Sunshine. Fresh air. Guernsey cows. Pigs. A few sheep. Poly-tunnels with lots of vegetables.
I set a ladder up against a cherry tree, and returned home with a paper bag full of cherries.

1. Sun at my shoulder, bees at their work — I remember what joy looks like, and I am thankful.

Welcome to TToT (Ten Things of Thankful) blog hop! Join bloggers from all over the world as we come together to share those things that we are thankful for. Ten is in the name, but no one is counting; feel free to link up no matter how many (or few) you can list. Make sure to go read and comment on the posts, too. The TToT has always been big on making this a friendly community, and getting to know each other through posts and comments is a huge part of that. We’re thankful for you!
