It's Still Life

In no particular order:

1. The Joe Bonamassa concert in Brighton on Sunday. It was a brilliant night!
   
2. Three pigeons in the birdbath at the same time, trying to push each other out of the way. What an argy-bargy. What a proper laugh.
   
3. Spring flowers and floral arrangements
   
4. My crow. My robin. Neither of whom are mine, and never will be.
   
5. Sunshine, line-dried bedlinen (and board-stiff underwear).
   
6. Adam Hurst’s music for writing. I can’t think with two internal voices in my head at once—mental dissonance, that’s what it is.
   
7. That it wasn’t me driving 10mph over the speed limit in my car.
   
8. For the few remaining local shops that accept cash.
   
9. Silly jokes. Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field!
   
10. Myths and the hero’s journey.
