Saturday: A Cadralor Poem

I.
Blue poured into the week
as if it was summer.
For a day, maybe two.

II.
The shoe
went on the other foot:
it rained all week.

III.
North’s door is open
to birds leaving,
and leaves falling.

IV.
Bird strike on the window.
A completed cycle.
It’s journey ahead.

V.
I called her mine
and stroked her head.
I must be home, she said.
