And it was just a dream (I reminded myself) that flickered like a movie reel, a lady posed with a yellow pet snake, 3 odd sized clowns, a few policemen with oars in hand who stood upright in a row boat, and there was a lisping tenor singing on top of an ice cream van, and the dream spilled and spun like strands of fantasy and fun, and I sat on the shore, my thoughts as shiny as a monk’s head, and never had there been a better word than truth, and the day was bright as the dawn of youth.
