11 April: NaPoWriMo and 3 Line Poetry

AI art: stone in a puddle with sequential ripples

I. for Miz Quickly’s prompt “Lost or Found”

Somewhere out there
in the spiral twist of ivy growth,
red cyclamen, and sunlight,

and a moon that never
changes its allegiance,
is my favourite coffee mug,

left and lost to loneliness
and longing, as if its last
word spoken was Lost.

II. for Grace Black’s Ink in Thirds #TLT Three Line Poetry

I’ll rhyme the weather with blue sky while
thick strokes slant on the windowpane,
a tempest’s shiver, sweeping folds to ride

    1. Her voice is like when you rub your fingertip around the rim of a crystal goblet … the piano is playing raindrops.

    2. Thank you, B! This WP anonymous nonsense happens to me also on other blogs, and I’m signed in, so I’m not sure what’s up with it. Sometimes, I blame the reader view … but not always.
