A Double Fibonacci Sequence Poem
Nature likes to hide itself. ~ Heraclitus
It
all
adds up
Subtract rain
and chill of winter
and add spring’s flush of white blossomed
blackthorn, and then add the warming earth plus fiddleheads
add
red
for love
of tulip’s
to the wanton wit
of squirrels, and birds making nests
and then watch the hungry caterpillars multiply.
