17 March: TToT

daffodils in the garden

This is my contribution to the Wakefield Doctrine’s traditional contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop.

  1. For Barbara, and her ability to read the weave of peripheral thoughts, like her poem this week “Wednesday Observations” at Wet Weather Spring.
  2. For morning sunlight through a daffodil blossom (photo above).
  3. The scent of wood smoke in the air.
  4. The return of the vernal equinox (20 March at 3:06am).
  5. That it’s not my street they’re digging up.
  6. Blackthorn in bloom.
  7. Three crows on the fence; three is more than a number.
  8. Superglue.
  9. The interval between three sneezes.
  10. A good cover.

  5. They are digging up our highway, but so far, we’re thankful to have managed to get into the neighborhood each time.

Crows are my favorites, I talk to them whenever I see them.

    1. There are several crows in my garden who seem to not be annoyed by my presence. 🥰

  6. The fourth crow is nearby, the lookout. You’ve put me in very fine company.

      1. I love what you’re writing right now. It’s choice! …. That “someone” nonsense happens to me all the time when I use WP app. Rubbish little thing.
