Ours is right in the center of the door and we have a small, non-functioning mailbox on the wall (don’t ask me; it was there when we bought the house!) We secured it so it won’t open but there’s one mail person who insists on trying to stuff our mail into the box so it’s always torn up. There’s an easy fix to that problem and we talk about it often but I think there’s a law against killing a federal employee. 😂
