21 November: Found Poetry

two women, friends, sitting at table overlooking water, drinking tea and talking

Friends

There was a friend,
a forever face,
clear as water and roses.

Monday, we were friends.
Tuesday, we were language
exploring
the meaning of each other.

We were beginners.

  2. I have friends, though departed, visit me daily in my memories. That’s how good friends last. 🙂
