06 The Found Poetry Project

AI art, man sitting on top of a tall pile of stone. Birds in the sky, misty sunlight.

6 October: Irascible

On the other side of the mountain,
mother dreams
I am a teenager,
my young footprints cry out,
as if by divine power.

And I move
her stones here, and move
her stones there.

When the word came to me.
Irascible.

  1. Very nice. I don’t hear that word often. It was great to be reminded of it in such a poetic way.

    1. A lot of the credit goes to the source book. It’s mostly narrative.

      1. It’s something you have on your shelf at home?

        1. My cousin gave it to me for my birthday, so yes, it’s at home though not on a shelf as I’m reading it. 🥰
