Summer wind
is slow and patient.

Like old age.
It comes at you in waves.

Through small spaces and dark cavities,
around stones, and ringing silenced thoughts.

It lifts and turns,
such a frisky dance.

It’s a simple wisdom,
like an unfinished sentence that

      1. yes it looks like it will here too. The roads are a bit wet here but I haven’t seen any rain yet this morning. I was out when it started yesterday and quite refreshing.

        1. When I’m trying to get my chores done, and the weather is working against me, I tend toward grumpiness, which isn’t my usual temperament. I’m actually quite easygoing. Mostly. Usually.
