22 June: A Thursday Door

Gate to the Brontë's parsonage in Haworth, Yorkshire.

Bushboy (Brian Dodd) shares photos of doors, but not just any doors. Spectacular doors from his journeys. Dan’s Thursday Doors opened the door on this. I love doors of all sorts. I’ve trawled through my holiday snaps and found a few to share.

A door photo taken in Haworth, Yorkshire, home of the Brontë sisters. This is the gate to the parsonage. The church where their father was the priest is next door to the parsonage.

  1. I like how the door contrasts with the brick work 🙂

  2. What a wonderful door to feature. I’m trying to imaging the conversations as they walked through that gate.

  3. I will be there on Saturday – I have organised a re-union of my class of ’72 and there are 17 attending Inc. Wags! We are taking the steam train which I have never done in all the time we’veived here…

    1. The highlight of my birthday last year was a journey on the Bluebell Railway down here in Sussex and Kent. One day I might be able to take a ride on the Flying Scotsman.
