I love the abstract composition of this shot – yes it is realistic in detail but the almost golden proportion of the edge of the architecture with its straight and curved lines set against the natural world which, however, also has straight and curved lines and both sides have textures in the rough stonework and in the foliage. I would certainly paint this as a watercolour…
