3 April: A-to-Z Challenge

A.I. artwork: a bull standing in a field of wind-blown grass

B is for Blustery

Bold as a bull’s shoulder
Bluster and braggary
Buttress of wind

It’s grey squirrel
running on the fence weather,
and there’s light and shadow
flying helter-skelter in the air.

For A-Z Challenge. Blustery: Same as breezy, 15 to 25 mph winds. Written for the A-to-Z Challenge. Declared theme for the challenge is Weather. AI Digital Artwork is created using Midjourney. 3. Digital image spot on with poem. So taken with that technology and your skill with words that makes the two arts work as one. We Texans are well acquainted with Blustery winds and Bulls. Loved how you softened the bluster with the fence running grey squirrel’s light and shadow.

  5. Love how you are using AI here for the imagery.. Coincidentally, I tried it out for a recent poem of mine and was blown away by the awesomeness of the resultant image…
Blustery is such a cool word to use (one of Winnie the Pooh’s favorite too!!) and thanks for visiting me at ladyinreadwrites everyday. I hope to start visiting and commenting more regularly as well going forward..

  9. What a beautiful word you chose: blustery. Makes me want to blow some bubbles in the afternoon breeze to see how far can they get. Are those rain clouds?

    1. Thank you! I don’t think there’s much rain in those clouds – just lots of blustery wind.
