17 March: Navigating Blue for FOWC

AI Art: a fishing boat on waves, seagulls flying above the boat.
Navigating Blue

This will not stop
this roll and pitch
brave and blow.

The air is a gust of birds
scattered like handfuls of flowers.

Muzzle your ears.
From the roar. The howling blow.

Close your eyes and
relinquish your skin
to navigating blue.

  1. Oh I really love this one! The second stanza and the final stanzas both made my skin tingle a little. Wonderful imagery!

  3. Wow, this poem is absolutely stunning! The imagery of navigating blue and the gust of birds is so vivid and breathtaking. I love the idea of relinquishing your skin to the blue, it’s almost like letting go and surrendering to the unknown.

But I can’t help but wonder, what inspired you to write this poem? Is it based on a personal experience or something you imagined? Also, what does the phrase “Midjourney v.5” refer to? Is it a specific digital art program or something else entirely?

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us!
