10 March: for dVerse Syzygy (revised)

AI art woman gardening in the rain

A Syzygy

I.
A woman stands in the rain.
Hat. No coat. No umbrella.
No need, she won’t rust.

II.
A hoe in her hand. She tends
the soil. Bends and bows.
Rain is her background.

III.
She sings around the fringes
of a tune from childhood
about leaning on a rainbow.

  1. I love the last stanza. It’s a great image too. I have to admit, I have become obsessive about looking at the hands in your MidJourney images. They’re often just a little odd. Intriguing. But I really like this woman’s face and her sense of purpose.

    1. I’ve revised the 3rd stanza. Midjourney still struggles with hands and fingers, but with each new beta version they release, it gets better and better. Versions 4b was producing 3 and 4 arms, which was a giggle to work around.

  4. No rainbow without rain. No flowers either, and fewer songs.

  7. I like the poem, it, sort of, describes the picture. I first read it not paying attention to the picture but it’s better when explaining the picture. I like best to make my own picture in my mind while reading, this lady fooled me. Until I garnered that a ‘smart robot’ drew it I had placed it on a perturbed modern art painter when I saw three fingers on the right hand and six on the left. 🙂 Now I don’t know where to place it.
