A Triolet: On Danes Hill

On Danes Hill

The thought of being on that hill,
in that wind as hard as marble . . .

it’s such a thick and smitten chill,
the thought of being on that hill.

Fingers cold, nose so froze until
my every word is icy garble.

The thought of being on that hill,
in that wind as hard as marble . . .

  1. Beautifully done. I have been aiming at a triolet. I have tried 3 but not quite got there with any. Have been working hard to get inspired this week at all. But this yours is a great poem.
