FILLING UP THE FLOWERS
Triggers are
in the air. The weather feels
gypsy-restless, it makes
ones head and shoulders rise
above its huddled
comforts. It’s time to weed
browns from the garden,
plant silver skinned bulbs.
Our hands hold life
every time spring finds us.

Your lovely poem is humming with green-fingered frustration. 😂

It’s cold. It’s foggy. And the fog is freezing. And my smart meter is doing stupid numbers. But good news! Young son, wife, and grandkids might be coming here for the whole month of July!!

It really, really does mean the world to us.Mr M is so excited, he’s outside in the rain trimming the apple trees. After lunch, he’s tackling the grapevines. 😂

🤣 Well, life doesn’t get much more exciting than tackling grapevines! 😂

Too cold for the vines, he says. Tomorrow maybe. At least the trees are done.

🤣 Phew, thank goodness. Can’t have family seeing unruly, scruffy trees, Mr M. 🙂
