It's Still Life

Here

I belong to these
small latitudes and
longitudes.
This is home.
My familiar horizon.
An easy refreshment.
I have a house with its own
over-the-lane neighbours.
It’s tame here.
It’s real.
Occasionally monotonous.
And I’ve decided
that this is as far
as I wish to go.
