Miz Quickly’s Words

When Is a Mountain an Inch Too Short

When does a gnat
become a fly,
and when does Up
become the sky,
and when does a pile
become too high,
or an unwound clock
imply there’s time,
or when does freedom
means goodbye,
or when is knowledge
not knowing why.

A mountain, a slip, a watch and a ring,
a carpenter is none of these things.

Miz Quickly’s Words: fly knowledge piles mountains carpenter solid watch freedom clock slip instant. Shared with @Experimentsinfc #APoemADay on Twitter   ©Misky 2021

  1. 🙂 A super poem. I like the idea of knowledge being not knowing why. You must have inside knowledge!
