Quite Right Slick Days
It’s one of those
quite right slick days.
Palms sway their great shoulders,
and waves curl, crash and bang
their weight against my legs.
And then I wake up,
and it’s still winter.
I just want to drive,
and keep on going
until lunchtime.

Hopefully, a picnic lunch in the sunshine. I enjoyed the body imagery greatly. Well-done.

Love the quite right slick reference, it put me in a mellow yellow mindset.

This reminds me of that lovely feeling of waking from a dream and wanting to go back into it!
