A Hint of Sky Blue
There’s a sudden rip
in the clouds, as if
one hand pulls from the other,
an unclasping,
a division,
the way winter departs
from spring,
or
leaves fall from limbs.
And then the clouds return as one.
An embrace. Rejoined.
And snow falls again.

Lovely cloud hug. I love the imagery you used to describe a coming together of things.

Delightful sky imagery – I feel as though I am watching the motion of the clouds as I read it.

This is such beautiful imagery. I love the clouds embracing (to make snow babies?). 😏

Catching a glimpse of spring between the showers of snow sounds lovely… lunchtime is bright and almost a bit warm

We can dream, can’t we? A blue sky to enhance dream-inducing clouds certainly adds a nice touch.
I especially like this:
“the way winter departs // from spring,”
