Easy
I married a fella
whose thick hair
is the colour
of vanilla.
That man can always
make me laugh.
He has an easy way
about him.
Breezy. Buzzing.
Not buzzy-pesty.
More like busy-buzzy.
But those eyes; dark
as carbon and wise
as all creation.
And the man can cook.

“And the man can cook” Nice. In this part of the country a man ‘grills’ and makes deer jerky. Not that there is anything wrong with that… but it def ain’t cookin’. You sound like you have a winner!

I’m happy that I know how to cook… it makes me happy to prepare a good dinner (but I’m not good at deserts)
Sounds like a great liaison.

Just love your descriptions and clarifications of the busy/buzzy-ness. I think I have one of those. I feel the love in this line…”But those eyes; dark
as carbon and wise as all creation.” Then you follow it with cooking…ha!! this is oh so “Misky”. Love it.
(So sorry for this very late response)
