I love thick cream
and satin and
unfastened buttons

and old hands holding
small secrets and
salt blue whispers

and happy eyes and
a simple wander here
and a wander there

and the wonder of
life and of me and of
flesh and blood and water.

And of nowhere, but here.

Complete Bologna

His favourite lunch —
heads, arms, necks, legs,
and believe it or not,
other small friendly creatures.

We had a notion of sandwiches
as pleasant as possible.
