Wordle #329

A Hint of Siberia Without Producing a Passport

Sub-zero wind
is a hard nudge
An assault
A deep breath
feels like your last
It dropped into
minuses overnight
Blizzardy snow and
icicles hanging
hard as Sheffield
Loose teeth aiming
to fall And
there goes the wind
again
Against
the house a bashing
steel bar at bricks
and fairy lights
jiggling it up
in sailwinds
dancing puppets
dropping
from the eaves
from merry encasements
running the perimeter
roof tiles in flapping
frenzy So
I’ll take a seat
by the fire
afford my poor
circulation the heat
and just wait it out

  2. Having lived in England for 30 years to have it this cold now will mean that wished for snow at Christmas will not happen. Hopefully for all the hopeful children, I may be wrong! Yes, your poem was beautiful. I wonder why I force myself to include all the prompt words as I never check others!

    1. We aim to include them all for the challenge of it, I suppose. Sometimes my brain is up for it, and other times not. I hope you have a very happy Christmas.
