dVerse Quadrille #27

I Dreamt That I Woke on the Bottom of the Ocean

I love the sound of
rushing water, whether
it’s in rivers,
or over rocks.
Noisy and giggling
as a burlesque show.
Uncharted, free and
evergreen cold.
But I have no such
ear or affection
for that sound when
its tune comes
from my refrigerator.

  2. Oh, my. Hoping it’s an easy repair!
I love the juxtaposition here, Misky. 🙂 It did give me an added giggle.

    1. The Samsung repairman can’t figure out what’s leaking. He’s been here 5 times in two months. The other day he bent a piece of metal in the drip trough, and declared it (AGAIN) fixed. This morning there was another puddle.

I do love this and the close made me giggle (thinking you were alluding to its gurgling sounds and not realising you had a leak) – sorry!
Hope it gets (really) fixed soon!
    Kind regards

  13. HAH! This made me laugh at the twist, then cringe in the reality of what that could mean. Hope it’s an easy, and free – inexpensive – fix.
