1. Thankful for the warmth and comfort from a big pot of homemade soup. It’s good for all that ails.

2. The first hint of spring as crocus leaves appear through the crisp edge of frost.

3. Sunshine and blue sky on Tuesday. The fences steamed as the thawed.

4. This week’s Six Sentence Stories. I had a lot of fun writing this one.

5. The aroma of fresh baked rye bread, which means: be thankful — my sinuses are no longer blocked.

6. The British Gas repairman who said he couldn’t figure out where the water was coming from (it drips from the boiler — but he said don’t worry about it.) I know this doesn’t sound like something to be thankful for, but at least I know the boiler won’t explode.

7. That I managed to arrange another appointment with British Gas because 1) it’s windy and raining, and again 2) the boiler is dribbling water. This is definitely rainwater ingress through the flue pipe, which I think is leaking at a connector.

8. And this time I have photos and video of the boiler drippling (that’s a cross between dripping and dribbling = drippling). I will not be offering him a coffee and cookies this time.
9. This has been a rather thankless week: RVS positive PCR test; drippling boiler; rain and rain and gale-force wind… but I’m thankful that this week is nearly finished. It is, right? Nearly finished?

10 … and finally, I’m thankful for all those that I love and cherish.

Ten is in the name, but no one is counting; feel free to link up no matter how many (or few) you can list. Make sure to go read and comment on the posts, too. The TToT has always been big on making this a friendly community, and getting to know each other through posts and comments is a huge part of that. We’re thankful for you!
