A Tanka Poem for Two French Doors

Chateau doors stand tall
Echoes wrapped in oaken calm
Sunlight softly drapes
Old rooms cradle our laughter
Memory dances through wood

Bushboy (Brian Dodd) shares photos of doors, but not just any doors. Spectacular doors from his journeys. Dan’s Thursday Doors opened the door on this. I love doors of all sorts. I’ve trawled through my photos and found a few to share.

    What beautiful wood. The line “old rooms cradle our laughter” fits so neatly with the feel of the image. There is an essence of cradle with so much wood. Those kinds of places are rare.
