dVerse Quadrille #223

B&W photo (ai art) of tangled thorns

A Soft Breath on the Veil

Tangle me gently—
between thorn and thread,
between the prayer
and the thing
that answers.

Not every shadow
wants to bite.

Some wait patiently
to be named,
to be known,
to be pulled
like a stitch
from the mouth
of a long sleeping god.
