Knolling Indigo

Indigo blue
it fills the twilight scene,
Spills
inky songs in a secret tongue and
Warms
so soft with it tints serene.

Indigo blue
swept from depths of wonder lies,
So true
this blue that colours my dreams
Sanctuary
lies in your indigo eyes

  5. Had to look up the word “knolling” and found it means organizing objects at right angles….hence your illustration is perfect! And then all these beautiful uses of the word indigo, color, tints. The “inky songs in a secret tongue” I find sultry…and then the ultimate of a lover….to find sancturay in your indigo eyes. A beautiful poem.
