13 Nov: Poem-a-Day Challenge

Feeling Poorly …

should draw loved-ones together,
like what a bowl of Doritos does
sitting there on the table.
He’s back in hospital,

our Mike,

his failing immune system
that makes him susceptible
to sneezes in the next county,
but the doc says,

No worries. He’s okay.

  1. It’s incredible, what people put up with. And mostly, just get on with life.
