15 Oct: dVerse Quadrille

AI art man sitting on a rock by the sea B&W with light breaking through the clouds.

No Light

His was a heart that was closed
and locked forever,
and though his words were light,
airy as any leaf,
as if his thoughts
were swept clean by the sea,
he carried it, a terrible weight,
that of heavy grief,

    1. Thank you, Kim. Light is such a perfect prompt word; so many different ways to use it.

  7. Grief is indeed a stone, Misky. To be carried, and eventually befriended, in some ways. May all lighten for him, and soon.
