
Between Molecules
It’s the tiniest of marvels,
it could vanish,
slip between molecules.
Can’t you see it, he says,
It’s the smallest spider ever.
It’s as if it fell thru a pinprick
from a scintilla universe.
And I’m squinting at it, and say,
No, I think it’s a grain of pollen –
’cause it’s not moving at all.
