28 Sept 2021: It’s Just Weather

Blow

This wind has no soul
shepherd of destruction

It breathes low, and leaves
wounds across blossoms
and breakable hummingbirds

And then it turns back,
and blows itself inside out.

  6. I’ve been caught in an after math of a hurricane (at the coast) – Sand blowing everywhere. Open you mouth to breath and get a spoon full of sand! Some winds can be incredibly destructive. An umbrella is of no use at all in that kind of wind 😉

        1. The ears must’ve been difficult to clean; sand in ears! Ouch.
