inspired by the Found poem “Stare” below.

Within our house of stone and wood, down the road we stare.
We sit. We stare.

Day 65: I Think It’s Wednesday
The wall is loosening.
We are still closed in.
In the house.
Of stone.
Of wood.
Stare down the road.
Stare.
III.
STARE
My wall is loosening.
We are closed in,
turned in somewhere.
In the house.
Of stone. Of wood.
Stare down the road.
The stare –
we fed the stare.

Love each variation and how each hones a more fragmented meaning thru time. Makes Yeats’ seem verbose and flowery (which he is).
