and curls and furry slippers
where the cat purrrfers to sleep

room is
a girl’s blur,
pinks and curls
and furry slippers,
and her kitty who thinks
it’s Perseus; that it strays
across the sky, lost in the stars,
but kitty wants to be a bush, wants
to hide itself in leaves and gobble birds

The poetry form, Etheree, consists of 10 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 syllables.
