Six Random Thoughts

Candlelight is not the same as burning lightbulbs during the daylight.

I remember when you took us fishing — we ate tuna sandwiches.

My clothes smell of last night’s curry dinner. We used to eat plain food.

We used to stand by the coffee machine and talk. Tea works okay, too.

I’m always hopeful — it’s just something I do when other people don’t.

I loved Sundays — Fractured Fairy Tales, Roy Rogers, and Dad’s waffles.

  1. Love these! It’s always funny the thoughts that pop into our heads. Especially like the fishing one and the hopeful one. Last night “graffiti” – the word – popped into my head. Then I saw today’s NaPoWriMo prompt — sigh — another poetic sudoku. And out popped something that is so far from me — I was sort of incredulous to read it! 🙂 That’s random thoughts for you 🙂
    Happy Thursday to you!

    1. I’m so far behind with today’s prompts that I might declare this one my only attempt for the day. Maybe things will look brighter after dinner.
