Cecilia at The Kitchens Gardens asks for a photo of where we write. Here is a fractional peek into my study. There’s a wall of bookshelves behind me, a large west-facing window to my right. Plus a lot of other stuff that wouldn’t fit into the viewfinder.

I love the mirror effect it adds light and a cosy feeling. Like me there is always a beaker in the picture, in my case it will be either coffee or hot water.

Nice and tidy space and the mirror in front of you is a good thing. I never like to have my back to open doors, etc. A window next to you for light is wonderful too. I love the books behind you.
